Hardest Language To Learn

Hardest Language To Learn

The hardest language to learn varies for different people. Some people find it more difficult to learn a language like Spanish or French, because they already know English to begin with. In reality, the hardest language to learn is considered to be English. The reason for this is because so many people have trouble learning the rules and exceptions to languages, instead of the actual vocabulary.

A lot of other places consider Mandarin to be the hardest language to learn, because a majority of it consists of symbols. When compared scientifically to students who were learning English in 1999, forty percent of students had an easier time learning Mandarin. This, (by study), makes English the hardest language to learn when it comes down to the bare results. English is also one of the few languages with distinct syllables, and if the rules for these syllables are not followed correctly, will not sound right and make it the hardest language to learn.

What are the Most Difficult Languages to Learn?

The hardest language to learn is obviously not very easy to notice by people who already know that language. For example, people who know English will think of it as the easiest, instead of the hardest language to learn. If they were to go somewhere in the middle east, however, they would find it rather difficult to pick up one of their languages, because it is so far off from English. The hardest language to learn is actually far off from any one like French or Spanish, because they are closest to English when it comes to the rules of the language.

The hardest language to learn was deemed English by the national association of linguistics in 2003. Lets put it this way, the hardest language to learn in any foreign country is definitely English. The main reason for this is because there are so many rules, as well as so many exceptions to these rules. In addition, some words are spelled differently and have different meanings, even though they might sound the same.

English is One of the Hardest Languages to Learn

This often confuses people and makes it the hardest language to learn for them, because it’s hard to differentiate between these. Most other languages only have a few rules for you to learn and remember, however with the English language, there is a rule for almost every word.

In all reality, the hardest language to learn is always going to depend on who is actually learning it in the first place. The hardest language to learn can always be scientifically metered, but in reality some people are just better at some aspects of learning than others. People who are better with memorization will have an easier time learning English than those who are more practical.

English or Mandarin being the hardest language to learn is simply a mindgame, because with a good couple days of practice and the right level of determination, anyone can pull it off. Just remember that no matter what language you are trying to learn, there really is no “hardest language to learn.”
